Runkeeper Updated With Some Pretty Cool New Features

I love Runkeeper and get really upset whenever my stupid Vibrant’s GPS isn’t working or it won’t lock a signal. Runkeeper was updated today with some pretty neat-o features that any runner will appreciate. Auto Pause will automatically stop your phone’s tracking if you have to stop for say traffic or, in my case, if you feel like you’re going to keel over.

Runkeeper is one of my favorite exercise apps for Android.

Runkeeper also gets support for heart rate monitors including audio cues to help you stay within your target heart rate area. Other features include a new countdown timer for getting yourself jazzed about running and a photo support (that you can automatically share with your Street Team). Overall, a pretty solid set of improvements for fans of this app.

You'll need to look under the Settings screent to configure Runkeeper's new features.
