Location based whats-going-on-apps are a dime a dozen these days. Hell, we’ve reviewed Localmind, Found, Ollaa and GoHD in the past few months alone. Well as if you needed another one, Ujoolt will tell about the local comings and goings for wherever you live.
First things first, I’m no language-o-logist but it looks like someone got drunk and decided to use Google Translate:
Information is everywhere. Ujoolt makes information available by promoting its proximity, making it more relevant and appropriate. Ujoolt is the mobile app. that makes you interact in a limited perimeter around you, the perimeter that matters to you. In fact, it is in our confort zone that we are the most sensitive to the environment.
Whatever the F*** that means.
Anyways, Ujoolt is your typical location based app with a large map view that show you the local happenings or events or something. To be honest, because the translation is so bad it’s hard to tell what Ujoolt does.
Usually I’m too lazy to do this, but I actually did try to translate “jolt” with little success. After all, if 3 minutes of research doesn’t solve the problem then it’s basically unsolvable. I think someone famous said that.
Seriously, Ujoolt is basically Twitter with a map… like most of these apps are. You have options for adding both your Facebook and Twitter account. So there’s that.
That’s pretty much all I have to say about this app.
